Here is a little bit about what our plans are for the end of year celebrations…
- December 20th – We arrive in Bali to begin preparations (yikes!)
- Christmas Eve – We move into the venue with our family
- Christmas Day – We host a big Christmas lunch and dinner at the venue
- Boxing Day – The Wedding Party moves in and resumes preparations (nervous!)
- December 27th – Buck’s and Hen’s Parties (!!!)
- December 28th – No doubt we will be recovery from the previous day’s shenanigans
- December 29th – THE WEDDING!
- December 30th – ‘Recovery’ at the villa
- December 31st – We move out of the venue (early to avoid traffic) and begin the
NYE BEACH PARTY along Double Six Beach in Seminyak.
(Simon will also be playing golf in the morning if you want join him!) - January 1st – The activities begin!
- January 7th – Glenstelle leaves Bali

- Rock bar – STUNNING bar on a cliff – the best cocktail view in the world?
- Jimbarran Bay seafood dinner – Amazing fresh fish and BBQ while dining on the sand
- Kuta
- Waterbom Water Park – SO much fun – think Wet ‘n’ Wild with no rules
- Potato Head Beach Club – A MUST for sunset drinks, lounging and swimming
- Seminyak and Legian
- Double Six Beach – Boogie boarding, beach Bintang, cheap massages and frisbee, followed by sunset drinks on bean bags with live music
- Canggu
- Echo Beach Club – Superb seafood and BBQ with a breathtaking sunset
- Tanah Lot – Cliff-side temple with breathtaking sunsets – can be enjoyed from the pool at the luxurious Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort
- Nusa Penida – We can take a day trip to this very special island
- Crystal Bay – Snorkel amongst dramatic cliffs, or laze in a hammock
- The Sacred Rock Pool – Not many foreigners know about this beautiful spot…
- We can have lunch at the house we normally stay at – one of our favourite places!
All of these activities don’t require much planning, and could easily be organised the day before, including group transport.
But since we’re going to be crazy busy, we’re counting on some of you folks to organise group activities and let us all know where and when.

We were considering heading over to Malaysia after New Years and going to Sarawak to see the Orangutans. One way flights with Air Asia are a whopping $50 one way so if anyone going to the wedding is interested…..
